Your photos and your conversations live on your phone. Our servers store your account, plan and usage counters — and, if you email a photo in, that photo only until your phone collects it, for at most 14 days.
When you ask the agent something, your message — and only the specific photos the agent requests during that turn — are sent over an encrypted channel to our server and forwarded to our AI model provider to generate the answer. Neither we nor the provider retain your photos after the turn completes; the agent is stateless and remembers nothing between turns.
If the app crashes, it sends a stack trace, app version, OS version and an anonymous install id. This website does the same for its own failures: a script error, a resource that won't load or a failed call to our API sends the error message and stack, the page path — never the query string — your browser's user-agent, language, viewport, connection type and page-load timings, and the request id that ties the failure to our server-side log. Neither ever includes photos, captions, chat content, cookies, anything you typed, or your identity.
